Puppy Love {by æ}

How cute is this bow? When I saw it, I immediately thought of my puppy. I found it on Silly Buddy's Etsy shop. Below are a couple more items from their shop and then a few shots of my puppy! The best thing about SillyBuddy is they donate 3% of their sales to the Hinsdale Humane Society; A local non-profit animal shelter.

This was the proud moment where she graduated from puppy training classes. 

It was scary for a bit, we didn't think the trainer was going to pass her! She knew HOW to do everything, it just depended on if she wanted to that day or not. Smart dog = pain in the ass!

Cheers! It's almost Memorial Day weekend, pools open in 2 days and life is grand :-)

Wish I Were There... Anthropologie

I am so bummed that I won't be able to make it to the Anthropologie sale that started yesterday. Since I can't make it, I decided I wanted to do a little online shopping. These are some of the items that I am loving.

I am loving these Sperry's. The white is amazing, but I would hesitate wearing them until after this down weather passes by!

My Apartment: After

Okay, for those who saw my post on Saturday on the before pictures, I hope you will be surprised with the turnout of the after pictures. A few parts of the apartment are not completely finished yet, so these will be posted later.

A New Place to Shop... CB2

When I saw the grand opening post of CB2 at MIMI+MEG, I had to check out the online store. Once I discovered that I LOVE their items, I had to make sure there was one close to me....and there is! Well, about 40 minutes away in Lincoln Park, but it's definitely worth the drive. I ordered their catalog a couple weeks ago and it was waiting for me in the mail yesterday. After scouring the mag for about 30 minutes, flipping back and forth to make sure I got a good look at the prices, I was in love.

My Apartment: Before

Hello everyone. Just in case you haven't seen on my Facebook page yet, I am almost completely finished decorating my new apartment (well, not completely finished. I don't think you are every really completely finished decorating anything). I promised I would post before and afters, so here are the before pictures (The layout is actually backwards because these pictures are not of the exact same apartment, but this one is the same size and layout, just backwards). It's a cute apartment located in Naperville, IL, an amazing city.

The challenge was definitely the size of the apartment. Although, there was a separate dining and living space, along with a walk-in closet and laundry room, this was much smaller than my last apartment. But, I looked at it as an exciting challenge to do something I hadn't done before, scale down. This forced me to sell my existing furniture inmy old apartment: a couch, coffee table, entertainment center, desk and side table. I purchased new, size-appropriate furniture and decorations.

Finally settled...

It's been a while. Here is an update...

I am FINALLY unpacked. Things are coming together piece by piece and it is VERY hot!

Tv is mounted, decor has been hung, bed is complete, closet finally organized.

I feel like I have disappeared, because I haven't had internet in a while, but this will soon change.

I will be posting before & after pictures of the apartment by the end of the week. Stay tuned.
