A Little Washi

so, I know everyone is in love with washi tape. i have been on the hunt for the perfect roll. But, who are we kidding, I'll probably end up buying like 10 rolls. so, once I came to that conclusion, i was on the hunt for some cute/affordable washi tape. here's what i rounded up.

for all you creatives out there: there's a link at the bottom teaching you how to design your own washi tape in photoshop.

Found my dream table!

I found my dream table. It's a raw wood sawhorse table with metal accents. If only my 625 sq. ft. apartment wasn't only 625 sq. ft.!  Found it at World Market. You can find it online here.

Just In: West Elm

If I had a house full of one store, and only one store.... West Elm would be the store. I love how fresh and unique all of their products are. Kind of like a less expensive Anthropologie (another favorite).

Here are a few of my favorites from the new arrivals:

Kantha Quilted Throw

Papier-Mâché Animal Sculptures

Or you can grab inspiration from Danielle at Danielle Oakey Interiors

Organic Ironwork Duvet Cover + Shams

Washed Linen/Cotton Pillow Covers

Use these for backdrops to your more "out-there" pillows

Twig Mirror

Carved Wood Coffee Table

I wish I could have these all! What were your favorites from the new arrivals?

Ever Heard of It?

If you guys haven't heard of Heartsy, yet, allow me to say You're Welcome! If you love Etsy, then you will definitely love Heartsy.

Consider Heartsy, the Groupon of handmade products! They have amazing deals. Today, I just bought a deal from Etsy seller, bits & barley. I got a $37 gift card for free. All I had to do was sign up for the VIP membership. I earned the other credits to purchase the gift card by referring my friends to Heartsy.

So, point of the story: Heartsy is awesome and everyone should check it out!

I've already starting browsing through bits & barley, trying to decide which items I want to buy. Hard decision, since there are more than $37 worth of items that I want! Here are a few of my favorites, so far:

Bonus: They all come wrapped in this cute pillow box!

Puppy Love {by æ}

How cute is this bow? When I saw it, I immediately thought of my puppy. I found it on Silly Buddy's Etsy shop. Below are a couple more items from their shop and then a few shots of my puppy! The best thing about SillyBuddy is they donate 3% of their sales to the Hinsdale Humane Society; A local non-profit animal shelter.

Sage Honeycomb Bow Tie Dog Collar

My baby {the little one} with Apollo, Steven's family dog.

All grown up!

This was the proud moment where she graduated from puppy training classes.
It was scary for a bit, we didn't think the trainer was going to pass her! She knew HOW to do everything, it just depended on if she wanted to that day or not. Smart dog = pain in the ass!

Cheers! It's almost Memorial Day weekend, pools open in 2 days and life is grand :-)

Wish I Were There... Anthropologie

I am so bummed that I won't be able to make it to the Anthropologie sale that started yesterday. Since I can't make it, I decided I wanted to do a little online shopping. These are some of the items that I am loving.

A couple of dresser/nightstand pulls that I like:

I have never seen one like this before:

For the baker in us all:

This is so unique. I want to switch out one of my white lamp shades with this one:

Very chic & girly:

Were you able to attend the sale? Find anything awesome?
